SEO Analytics Training for International Students
Coming to Australia for tech education? We work with students from over 30 countries who choose Cairns as their study destination. Our SEO analytics program starts in September 2025, giving you time to sort out visas and accommodation.
Most international students arrive a month early to settle in. We recommend doing the same — getting familiar with the area makes everything easier once classes begin.
Our program runs for 18 months and includes practical work with real Australian businesses. You'll build portfolio projects that show actual results, not just theoretical knowledge.
What You Need to Know Before Applying
We get questions from prospective international students every week. Here's what actually matters when planning your study pathway with us.
Student Visa Requirements
You'll need a valid student visa to study with us. The Department of Home Affairs processes these applications, and we can provide the documentation you need once you're accepted into our program.
Start your visa application at least three months before our September intake. Processing times vary depending on your country of origin, but early applications avoid unnecessary stress.
- Confirmation of Enrolment letter provided after acceptance
- Overseas Student Health Cover required for visa approval
- Financial capacity documentation needed for application
- English proficiency evidence (IELTS 6.0 or equivalent)
Program Structure and Schedule
Classes run Monday through Thursday from 9am to 3pm. Fridays are reserved for independent project work and optional tutoring sessions. This schedule gives you time to work part-time if needed — student visas allow up to 20 hours per week during study periods.
The first six months focus on foundational SEO concepts and analytics tools. After that, you'll work on real client projects with supervision from our teaching team.
- 18-month program with three main phases
- Practical work with Australian business clients
- Individual mentoring sessions twice monthly
- Portfolio development throughout the program
Living in Cairns
Cairns is smaller than Sydney or Melbourne, which means lower living costs and a more relaxed pace. Most students share accommodation near the city centre, where rent runs between $180-$250 per week for a shared room.
The tropical climate takes some adjustment if you're from a colder country. Bring light clothing and expect warm weather year-round. Public transport is reliable, though many students end up cycling around town.
- Student accommodation options within walking distance
- Weekly living costs typically $350-$450 including rent
- International student community and support networks
- Part-time work opportunities in hospitality and retail
After You Graduate
Completing our program gives you practical experience in the Australian tech industry. Many of our graduates stay in Australia on post-study work visas, while others return home with skills that are in demand globally.
We maintain connections with digital agencies and businesses across Queensland. These relationships help with job placements, but we won't promise guaranteed employment — the job market depends on many factors beyond our control.
- Post-study work visa options available for eligible graduates
- Portfolio of real projects completed during studies
- Network connections with Queensland tech businesses
- Skills applicable to markets worldwide
Support Services During Your Studies
Adjusting to a new country while studying isn't always straightforward. We work with Cairns International Student Services to connect you with practical support for accommodation, banking, healthcare, and general life admin.
Academic support includes regular check-ins with your assigned mentor, access to additional tutoring sessions, and extension options if you're struggling with particular concepts. We'd rather you learn properly than rush through material.
Our current cohort includes students from Indonesia, Vietnam, India, Brazil, Colombia, and several European countries. The mix creates interesting perspectives during group projects — you'll see how SEO strategies differ across markets and cultures.
Meet Your International Student Advisors
These two handle most questions from prospective international students. They've both been through the visa process themselves and understand what you're dealing with.
Amara Okonkwo
International Student AdvisorAmara came to Australia from Nigeria in 2018 for her own tech studies. She knows the visa process inside out and handles most of our pre-arrival support. If you're confused about documentation or timelines, she's your go-to person.
She also runs our peer mentoring program, matching new arrivals with current students from similar backgrounds. It makes the transition easier when you've got someone who's recently been through the same experience.
Dmitri Volkov
Student Visa CoordinatorDmitri handles the technical side of visa applications and works directly with the Department of Home Affairs. He moved here from Russia in 2016 and spent years figuring out Australian immigration systems, so he's seen most complications before.
He prepares all your Confirmation of Enrolment paperwork and can answer specific questions about visa conditions, work rights, and what happens if your circumstances change during your studies.
